In previous posts, you may have read how I thought the Project Life form of pocket scrapbooking was too generic. However, I went to Spotlight the other day and decided to buy some pocket scrapbooking pages.

Above, is my first attempt at pocket scrapbooking. I quite like the finished result. The focus is really on the photos, rather than on the embellishments as is the case with normal scrapbooking.

Materials – Project Life seasons mini kit, cork thickers, memorology pocket pages, crafter’s choice tag pad, glitter washi tape from Big W, Kaisercraft enchanted garden collectables (die cuts)

Techniques used – collage on the bottom left hand corner, thickers alphabet stickers on top left corner title card from Project Life, tag journaled on and stuck onto top right corner, mushroom and other collectables stuck on title page and journal card.

I still love regular scrapbooking, but pocket scrapbooking is just another way of playing with photos and paper.
